Doug Rye radio show now heard on KMHM and WXAN
Program teaches listeners how to save money on energy bills
Doug Rye, the “King of Caulk & Talk”, is now featured on both WXAN 103.9 FM and KMHM 104.1 FM each Saturday morning at 9:05 a.m. Tune in for an hour of energy-saving ideas featuring the man who is also called the “Will Rogers of Energy.”
Doug Rye is probably the best known residential energy consultant in the nation. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he received a bachelors degree in architecture. Doug has spent the past 25 years in the energy business.
He worked 30 years for the Farmers Home Administration (FHA) as the State architect in Arkansas. Upon resigning from the FHA, Doug began his own business and combined his skills as a licensed architect, his knowledge of energy, and his appreciation of environmental conservation.
Doug works with people and contractors all across the United States building and remodeling homes and other buildings designing the most energy efficient structures possible. His techniques include the use of cellulose insulation, geothermal heat pumps, and energy efficient hot water heaters.
The combination of these techniques and Doug's expertise has helped people nationwide in developing the most energy efficient structures possible. In addition to offering individualized consultation, Doug presents seminars around the country, which offer information about energy efficiency and conservation.
